Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with oncology departments/practices and HCPs (Oncologists, Hematologists, Pharmacists, Nurses, executives, department heads/managers, support staff).
- Increase education on product benefits/risks consistent with the approved label; develop new business; improve resource utilization; grow sales and market share to achieve sales plan for assigned oncology product/indications.
- Provide on-label technical/scientific presentations using approved data to support sales quota achievement.
- Serve as lead US Commercial contact for targeted accounts; collaborate with internal/co-promotion counterparts (Brand/Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, contracted SPPs) for physician site support and issue resolution.
- Build and update strategic/tactical account business plans; facilitate approved/safe site training; monitor/report sales progress; provide routine communications.
- Act as key account point of contact; coordinate timely support.
- Attend and represent AbbVie at local clinician boards/societies/HCP meetings; ensure communications are on-label.
- Stay current on clinical, market, and payer developments in oncology; complete required training; follow company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization).

Qualifications:
Basic skills/requirements: business/analytical ability; lead without direct authority; excellent communication/presentation; persistency/grit; drive personal/company vehicle or powered equipment; valid driverโ€™s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred: Bachelorโ€™s degree; oncology/specialty/pharma experience; account management; specialty pharmacy; healthcare experience; people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
