Territory: Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse, Birmingham, Jamestown, Ithaca areas, with ideal candidate based in Rochester or Buffalo, NY.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with oncology departments and practices (oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurses, executives, and support staff) to increase education on product benefits/risks (on-label), develop new business, improve resource utilization, and grow sales/market share by achieving assigned oncology sales plans.
- Deliver on-label technical/scientific presentations using approved data to drive sales quota achievement.
- Serve as lead US commercial contact for targeted accounts; coordinate support with AbbVie and co-promotion counterparts (Brand/Strategic Marketing, GPO, Thought Leader Liaisons, MSLs, contracted SPPs).
- Build and maintain strategic/tactical account business plans; facilitate site physician/treatment team training on approved/safe product use; monitor/report progress.
- Act as key account point of contact; respond/direct inquiries and ensure timely, satisfactory support.
- Participate in clinician boards/societies/HCP meetings as appropriate; represent AbbVie and assigned products; ensure communications are on-label.
- Stay current on clinical, market, and payer developments in oncology; complete required training and adhere to policies.
- Maintain knowledge of approved product label/disease state; optimize data/tools to identify opportunities and program strategy.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).

Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- Business savvy; analytical ability to define account/program strategies using diverse data.
- Forward-thinking strategies to meet customer needs in complex environments.
- Demonstrated leadership (lead without direct authority); experience developing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Persistency/grit.
- Ability to drive (personal/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment).
- Valid driverโ€™s license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.

Preferred:
- Oncology sales or oncology clinical experience.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience (working with patients or consulting healthcare companies).
- MBA or other advanced degree.
