Field-based role; candidates should live within the territory (Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas). Reports to the Senior District Manager. Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as the strategic leader of the territory, combining clinical expertise, account planning, business acumen, and execution to improve patient outcomes and support brand objectives/goals for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific/clinical expertise.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete AbbVie required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and immunization/vaccination proof).

Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; desire/ability to take on larger roles faster.
- Ability to work collaboratively; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโ€™s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Regular business travel by air or car.

Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Account Management experience; Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience (working with patients or consulting).
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
