Field-based role; candidates should live within the territory (Phoenix, AZ and surrounding areas). Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as the strategic leader of their territory, improving patient outcomes and supporting brand objectives and business goals for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Deliver disciplined, accountable sales execution; prioritize opportunities using business acumen.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; collaborative team approach.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Driving: personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular business travel by air or car.
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโs degree; Account Management; Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience.
- People management/leadership experience; MBA or other advanced degree.
