This role is field-based; candidates should live within the territory (Madison, WI and surrounding areas).
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete all required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license (pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements).
- Business travel regularly required (air or car).
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry/patient or consulting experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
