Field-based role. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city (covers Los Angeles S, Irvine, Garden Grove, Orange, Corona, Santa Ana, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, CA and Honolulu, HI and surrounding areas).

Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) is the strategic leader of their territory, combining clinical expertise, account planning, business acumen, and execution to improve patient outcomes and advance brand and business goals for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned to brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Complete required AbbVie training; maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements for facility access (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).

Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit; desire/ability to take on larger roles quickly.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโ€™s license (pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements).
- Business travel regularly required.

Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience (patients or consulting healthcare companies).
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
