Role Overview (Field-based)
- Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as the strategic leader of their territory for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.

Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete all AbbVie required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet HCIR credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination) for facility entry.

Qualifications (Required)
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit with a strong track record.
- Driving: personal auto/company car or truck; valid driverโ€™s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; meet safe driving requirements.
- Business travel (air or car) regularly required.

Preferred
- Oncology experience, preferably in hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
