Location/Territory: Field-based; candidates must live within the territory (Long Island). Reporting to the Senior District Manager.
Role: Clinical Account Executive (CAE) is a strategic leader of their territory, combining clinical expertise, strategic account planning, business acumen, and execution to improve patient outcomes and support CLL/NHL Oncology Products brand objectives.
Key Accountabilities/Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues for coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications/Required:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency/grit; ability to drive a personal auto or company car/truck.
- Valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโs degree; Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience.
- People management/leadership experience; MBA or advanced degree.
