Field-based role; candidates should live within the territory (Boise, Salt Lake City, North Las Vegas and surrounding areas).
Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as strategic leader of the territory, combining clinical expertise, strategic account planning, business acumen, and execution to improve patient outcomes and support brand and business goals for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Preference for Oncology/Hematology experience.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to take on larger roles faster.
- Collaborative team mindset.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Driving a personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license (ability to pass drug screening and meet safe driving requirements).
- Business travel regularly required (air or car).
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโs degree; MBA or other advanced degree.
- Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy and healthcare/patient-focused experience.
- People management or other leadership experience.
