Role: Clinical Account Executive (CAE) β€” field-based; candidates should live in the territory (Kentucky and surrounding areas). Reporting to the Senior District Manager.

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required AbbVie training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Essential requirement: meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).

Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal or company vehicle; valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Regular business travel (air or car).

Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
