Field-based role (live within reasonable distance of Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Gainesville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, and surrounding areas). Reporting to the Sr. District Manager (S. DM), the Clinical Account Executive builds and implements territory business plans aligned to brand objectives and business goals, with strong disease-state understanding and relationships across the oncology care continuum.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed assigned sales goal.
- Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive selling (per AbbVie Promotional Policy).
- Use sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies in the territory with cross-functional partners and approved resources.
- Build knowledge of evolving marketplace, territory changes, disease state, and product expertise.
- Collaborate with territory partners and external counterparts.
- Develop and execute a call plan to meet call metrics and optimize customer coverage/frequency.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and AbbVie policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or clinical experience (RN, APRN, PA, RPh) (Preferred).
- 3+ years Oncology or Oncology Diagnostics including solid tumor sales (Preferred).
- Proven record of exceeding sales expectations.
- Consultative, clear communication; competitive selling skills.
- Collaborative team environment; strong organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Pass background check and additional institution/health-facility screenings (e.g., immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening).
- Regular business travel (air or car).
- Drive personal or company vehicle/equipment; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
