This role is field-based; candidates should live within the territory (Hudson Valley, NY and surrounding areas).
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise; deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; strong organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Driving a personal auto or company vehicle; valid driverโs license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (especially hematologic malignancies)
- Bachelorโs degree; Account Management experience; Specialty Pharmacy experience
- Healthcare/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership; MBA or advanced degree.
