Field-based Clinical Account Executive (CAE) role; candidates should live within reasonable distance of Fresno, Bakersfield, Merced, Salinas, Visalia, Santa Maria, CA and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the CAE serves as strategic leader of the territory to improve patient outcomes and support brand objectives for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.
Key accountabilities / core responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned to brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism; complete required training and adhere to company policies and Legal/OEC procedures.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; strong organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively; persistence and grit.
- Driving: personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening; safe driving requirements.
- Regular business travel required.
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies); account management experience; specialty pharmacy experience; healthcare/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership; bachelorโs degree; MBA/advanced degree.
