Field-based role; candidates should live within the territory (Columbus, OH and surrounding areas). Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) is the strategic leader of the territory to improve patient outcomes and advance brand objectives for CLL and NHL Oncology Products.
Key Accountabilities/Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Deliver results through disciplined execution, accountability, and ownership.
- Think strategically about customers, key accounts, and market dynamics to prioritize opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise with compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; strong collaboration.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe-driving requirements.
- Personal or company vehicle; business travel regularly required.
Preferred:
- Oncology experience (preferably hematologic malignancies).
- Bachelorโs degree; Account Management; Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience; leadership/people management; MBA/advanced degree.
