This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city (Cleveland, Akron, Toledo, Lorain, Canton and surrounding areas).
Reporting into the District Manager (DM), the Clinical Account Executive will build and implement territory business plans aligned with overall brand objectives and business goals, demonstrating clear disease state understanding and building strong relationships across the oncology patient care continuum.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting/exceeding assigned sales goal.
- Present approved disease state and product information using persuasive selling skills (within AbbVie Promotional Policy).
- Leverage sales analytics and customer intelligence to create strategic plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Execute sales and marketing strategies in the territory with cross-functional partners and approved resources.
- Continuously build knowledge of the evolving marketplace, territory changes, and disease/product expertise.
- Collaborate effectively with territory partners and external counterparts.
- Develop and execute a call plan to achieve set call metrics and optimize coverage/frequency to key customers.
- Comply with all laws, regulations, and policies governing AbbVie activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree preferred.
- 6+ years Oncology, including solid tumors sales experience preferred.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations.
- Exceptional communication skills; consultative selling style.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Demonstrated ability in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must pass AbbVie background check and additional required screening (may include background checks, immunization, TB, HIV, hepatitis, drug screening).
- Regular business travel (air or car).
- Driving a personal auto or company vehicle (or powered material handling equipment).
