This role is field-based; candidates should live within the territory (Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton and surrounding areas).

Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) is the strategic leader of the territory, using clinical expertise, strategic account planning, and business acumen to improve patient outcomes and advance brand goals for CLL and NHL.

Key Accountabilities/Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists/oncologists and key stakeholders (nurses, pharmacists, administrators)
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific/clinical expertise
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and analytics to optimize execution
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism; complete required AbbVie training and follow company OEC/Legal procedures
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof)

Qualifications (Required):
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work collaboratively
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Persistence/grit; valid driverโ€™s license; ability to drive (auto/company vehicle)
- Business travel regularly required

Preferred:
- Oncology experience (especially hematologic malignancies)
- Bachelorโ€™s degree; Account Management; Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience
- People management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree
