Role/Location:
- Field-based role; candidates should live within the territory (Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, El Paso, TX, Pueblo, CO, Grand Junction, CO, and surrounding areas). Reporting to the Senior District Manager.
Key Responsibilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination).
- Competencies: disciplined sales execution/accountability/ownership; strategic business acumen; purposeful execution; learning agility; clear communication; resilience; intellectual curiosity.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech, medical device, or diagnostics.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency/grit; ability to drive personal auto or company car/truck.
- Valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Business travel regularly required (air or car).
Preferred:
- Oncology experience, preferably hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโs degree; account management; specialty pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience.
- People management/leadership; MBA or other advanced degree.
