This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city (covers most of Delaware including Wilmington, New Castle, Seaford, Dover, Vineland, Salisbury, Ocean City, Cape Charles, and surrounding areas).
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as strategic leader for the territory; improve patient outcomes and advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally for coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism; complete required training and adhere to policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications (Required):
- 5+ years pharma/biotech sales; oncology/hematology experience required (preferably Multiple Myeloma).
- Competitive selling skills; collaborative team environment.
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; persistence/grit.
- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license.
- Regular business travel by air or car.
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies; bachelorโs degree.
- Account management, specialty pharmacy, healthcare experience; people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
