Clinical Account Executive (CAE)
Role scope: Field-based; candidates should live within reasonable distance of the primary city. Territory covers most of Delaware including Wilmington, New Castle, Seaford, Dover, Vineland, Salisbury, Ocean City, Cape Charles, and surrounding areas.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise.
- Partner effectively cross-functionally to coordinate customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Strong competitive selling skills; collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit; ability to drive personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license.
- Pre-employment drug screening and safe driving requirements.
- Business travel by air or car regularly required.
Preferred:
- Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies experience.
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty pharmacy and/or healthcare experience.
- People management/leadership experience; MBA or other advanced degree.
