Clinical Account Executive (CAE) β€” field-based (Tucson, AZ and surrounding areas).

Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the CAE serves as strategic leader of their territory to improve patient outcomes and advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives.

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Deliver exceptional sales results through disciplined execution, accountability, and ownership (strong preference for Multiple Myeloma experience).
- Think strategically about customers, key accounts, and market dynamics to prioritize opportunities and maximize sustainable impact.
- Translate strategy into focused action; execute with precision.
- Rapidly learn and apply complex scientific, clinical, and business concepts in customer environments.
- Communicate complex clinical/business concepts clearly.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise with compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Use data, customer insights, and analytics to continuously optimize territory performance.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required AbbVie training; adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet HCIR credentialing requirements to gain facility entry (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).

Qualifications (Required):
- 5+ years pharma/biotech sales.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Persistency/grit in challenging environments.
- Drive personal or company vehicle; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular business travel.

Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelor’s degree; account management; specialty pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience.
- People management/leadership; MBA or advanced degree.
