Role overview:
- Field-based Clinical Account Executive (CAE) reporting to the Senior District Manager, responsible for strategic leadership of the territory (Riverside, Pomona, Moreno Valley, San Bernardino, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Palmdale, Lancaster, CA and surrounding areas), including Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals.

Core job responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required AbbVie training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.

Required qualifications/skills:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required (preferably Multiple Myeloma).
- Competitive selling skills; strong collaboration.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit; ability to take on larger roles.
- Driving personal or company vehicle; valid driverโ€™s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Business travel regularly required.
- Meet healthcare industry credentialing requirements for facility access (e.g., background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).

Preferred:
- Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies experience.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree; Account Management experience; Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare/patient or consulting healthcare experience; people management/leadership; MBA or advanced degree.
