Field-based Clinical Account Executive (CAE) covering Newark, Paterson, Jersey City, West Milford, Sparta, Blairstown, and surrounding areas.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Meet health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements for facility entry (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization).
Qualifications (Required):
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience, preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Driving required (personal auto or company car/truck); valid driverโs license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies; bachelorโs degree.
- Account Management; Specialty Pharmacy.
- Healthcare industry/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
