Clinical Account Executive (CAE) β€” field-based (live within reasonable distance of New Haven, Waterbury, Hartford, Salisbury, Enfield, all of Rhode Island, and surrounding areas).

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific and clinical expertise.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in customer interactions.
- Complete required AbbVie training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).

Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Desire to take on larger roles faster; persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal auto or company vehicle; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular business travel (air or car).

Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelor’s degree; account management; specialty pharmacy.
- Healthcare/patient or consulting experience; people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
