Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete all required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
- Field-based role; candidates should live within reasonable distance of the primary city (covers Lebanon, Gallatin, Oak Ridge, Murfreesboro, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Morristown, and surrounding areas).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; safe driving requirements.
- Business travel regularly required.
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโs degree; account management experience; specialty pharmacy experience; healthcare industry experience.
- People management/leadership experience; MBA or other advanced degree.
