Clinical Account Executive (CAE), Multiple Myeloma – Los Angeles South, CA (field-based; candidates should live within reasonable distance—Los Angeles, Irvine, Costa Mesa, CA and surrounding areas)
Core Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific/clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism; complete required training and adhere to company policies and legal procedures.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience (preferably Multiple Myeloma).
- Competitive selling skills; proven accountability/ownership.
- Ability to work collaboratively; strong organizational/analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening; drive personal or company vehicle.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies; Account Management; Specialty Pharmacy; healthcare/patient or consulting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree; people management/leadership experience; MBA or other advanced degree.
