This role is field-based. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city (Hudson Valley, NY and surrounding areas).

Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as the strategic leader of their territory to improve patient outcomes and advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals.

Key Accountabilities / Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete required AbbVie training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements for facility entry (e.g., background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination).

Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; highly collaborative team orientation.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโ€™s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Business travel regularly required.

Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies; specialty pharmacy; account management.
- Bachelorโ€™s degree; healthcare industry/patient-facing experience; people management/leadership; MBA or advanced degree.
