This role is field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of Greenville, SC and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) is the strategic leader of their territory and is responsible for improving patient outcomes and advancing Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise in compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Complete required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills; persistency/grit.
- Driving personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโs degree; Account Management experience; Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry/patient experience; people management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
