Field-based role (candidates should live within a reasonable distance of: Fresno, Bakersfield, Visalia, Modesto, Salinas, Santa Maria, CA and surrounding areas).
Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the Clinical Account Executive (CAE) serves as the strategic leader of their territory to improve patient outcomes and advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete all required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications/Required:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driverโs license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Business travel (air or car) is regularly required.
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Account Management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
