Job Description
- Field-based; candidates should live within a reasonable distance of Cleveland, OH and surrounding areas.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Demonstrate deep scientific and clinical expertise while delivering compliant, customer-focused engagements.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional colleagues to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Continuously evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism in every customer interaction.
- Complete all required training and maintain adherence to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements for facility/organization entry (may include background checks, drug screens, and proof of immunization/vaccination).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening; safe driving requirements.
- Drive personal or company vehicle.
- Business travel (air or car) is regularly required.
Preferred:
- Experience in Multiple Myeloma or hematologic malignancies.
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Account management experience.
- Specialty Pharmacy experience.
- Healthcare industry experience.
- People management/leadership experience.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
