Clinical Account Executive (CAE) — Field-based (live within reasonable distance of primary city). Territory covers Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Rio Rancho, El Paso, TX, Pueblo, CO, Grand Junction, CO, and surrounding areas.
Reporting to the Senior District Manager, the CAE serves as strategic leader for their territory—combining clinical expertise, strategic account planning, and business acumen to improve patient outcomes and advance Multiple Myeloma brand objectives and business goals. Build trusted partnerships, think like business owners, collaborate across the oncology ecosystem, and execute with compliant, high ethical standards.
Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan aligned with brand strategy and local customer needs.
- Build trusted relationships with hematologists, oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, administrators, and key account stakeholders.
- Deliver compliant, customer-focused engagements using deep scientific/clinical expertise.
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver coordinated customer experiences.
- Evaluate territory performance using data, customer insights, and business analytics to optimize execution.
- Maintain integrity, compliance, and professionalism in all interactions.
- Complete required training and adhere to company policies and OEC/Legal procedures.
- Continuously develop clinical, business, and leadership capabilities.
- Meet health care industry representative credentialing requirements (may include background checks, drug screens, immunization/vaccination proof).
Qualifications:
- 5+ years sales experience in pharma/biotech.
- Oncology/hematology experience required; preferably Multiple Myeloma.
- Competitive selling skills; ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Persistency and grit.
- Driving a personal auto or company car/truck; valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
- Regular business travel (air or car).
Preferred:
- Multiple Myeloma/hematologic malignancies experience; Bachelor’s degree.
- Account Management, Specialty Pharmacy, healthcare experience (patients/consulting), people management/leadership; MBA/advanced degree.
