The Client Services Specialist is responsible for achieving best-in-class customer experience for key Cell and Gene Therapy accounts. Based in Minneapolis; works in a team sales setting supporting Business Development and field-based Sales Specialists as a key commercial operations input.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work in a team to support and meet assigned territory goals.
- Proactively plan and anticipate customer needs by collecting and reviewing forecasts; take ownership of requests and follow through to completion with relevant internal teams.
- Lead operational alignment calls with Key Accounts; participate in steering team meetings, business reviews, and other customer-facing activities.
- Prepare sales quotes for bulk, GMP, Cell and Gene Therapy reagents, custom orders, and other high-value opportunities.
- Maintain customer relationships through knowledgeable communication and proactive resolution of questions/issues; partner with regional sales teams across Bio-Techne divisions.
- Manage all aspects of the order cycle to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Handle complex work situations that could impact company image and/or sales dollars and costs.
- Triage inbound key-customer inquiries and respond or route efficiently.
- Document communications using CRM and other corporate systems.
- Establish and adhere to high ethical and performance standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience; up to 2 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Advanced knowledge of Bio-Techne reagents/consumables for CGT and regenerative medicine workflows (antibodies, recombinant proteins, small molecules, immunoassays, and cell culture reagents), including marketplace and competitor knowledge.
- Empathy for customer needs; ability to integrate information into opportunities and strategies.
- Proven ability to collaborate in a team-selling environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, leadership, decisiveness, and confidence to make decisions.
- Ability to work independently to obtain support across the organization.
- Proficient planning, organization, problem solving, and multi-tasking.
- Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com; ability to become proficient in proprietary databases/ERP solutions (Microsoft AX).
- Ability to handle sensitive/proprietary information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
