Responsibilities:
- Lead account engagement as primary point of contact; build connections, identify priorities, and link customers to Novartis resources to improve patient outcomes.
- Navigate and resolve account challenges with tailored solutions.
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan; use territory data/market trends to drive product demand and pull-through.
- Partner cross-functionally (territory teammates, field teams, home-office, Patient Specialty Services) to deliver access support and a seamless customer experience.
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders; solve complex problems across functions.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel outreach to engage customers virtually and in person.
Qualifications (Required):
- Bachelorโs degree.
- Experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare (or similar complex sales environments) with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within last 5 years; associate level: limited prior sales experience encouraged.
- Proven high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytics; ethical leadership and compliance mindset.
- Reside in territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60โ80% and drive/fly within territory; valid driverโs license.
Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services/market access, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.
Driving is an essential function (must have fully valid/unrestricted driverโs license).
