Role Responsibilities
- Drive sales in assigned territory
- Engage with customers face to face and virtually
- Develop and implement business and territory call plans; identify live/virtual engagement strategies
- Build rapport/relationships in live and virtual environments using digital tools to maintain customer engagement
- Leverage internal reports/analytics to identify and implement strategic business opportunities
- Compliantly educate providers on unbranded/branded product value for relevant patient populations using approved disease-state information and patient resources
- Collaborate across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance business objectives
- Complete administrative expectations on time and compliantly
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience (or Associate’s degree + 6+ years; or High School + 8+ years) in one or more of: Professional sales/promotional activity; small business owner/entrepreneurship; marketing; customer service and/or account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT/OT); educator (e.g., teacher/principal); full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the territory border; valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical marketing; strong sales/marketing track record; disease-state/therapeutic area/product experience; knowledge of territory customers/markets; reside within territory boundaries
