Role Responsibilities
- Drives sales in assigned territory.
- Engages with customers both face to face and virtually.
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Builds rapport and relationships with customers in live and virtual environments using digital tools.
- Uses internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Uses product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded and branded value propositions; utilizes approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources as applicable.
- Collaborates across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance company objectives.
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales/promotional activity; or associate’s degree with 6+ years; or high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years (e.g., professional sales/promotional activity; small business owner/entrepreneurial/marketing/customer service/account management; relevant healthcare/scientific roles such as RN/Pharmacist/PT/OT; educator roles; full-time military experience).
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record (DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales and/or medical marketing.
- Track record of sales/marketing success; territory management; strong communications; demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with applicable disease states/therapeutic area/products; knowledge of posted territory customers/markets.
- Reside within territory boundaries.
Other Job Details / Benefits
- Territory: Fort Wayne, Columbia City, Warsaw, Auburn, Angola.
- Annual base salary range: $76,000–$199,600; additional quarterly Sales Incentive bonus.
- Overtime during initial new hire sales training; exempt after training certification.
