Role Responsibilities:
- Drives sales in assigned territory
- Engages with customers face-to-face and virtually
- Develops and implements effective business and territory call plans; identifies and implements live/virtual engagement strategies
- Builds rapport and relationships in live and virtual environments; maintains customer engagement using digital tools
- Uses internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities
- Leverages product and disease state knowledge to educate providers on unbranded and branded value propositions; uses approved clinically oriented disease state information and patient resources as applicable
- Collaborates across the organization to address customer inquiries and advance business objectives
- Completes all administrative expectations on time and compliantly
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (or: associate’s degree + 6+ years; or high school diploma + 8+ years)
- Experience in professional sales or promotional activity; or small business owner/entrepreneurial/marketing/customer service/account management
- Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT); educator experience; or full-time military experience
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; no DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of pharmaceutical/biotech/medical sales or medical-related marketing
- Track record of sales/marketing success; territory management; communications; teamwork/leadership/accountability
- Experience with applicable disease states/therapeutic area/products
- Knowledge of territory customers/markets; resides within territory boundaries
