Territory Assignment (field-based): Cover Metro Detroit and surrounding areas including Detroit, Downriver, Dearborn, Northville, Livonia, and Flint. Overnight travel may be required ~25% to support client meetings and ensure coverage.
Position Overview: Develop and manage relationships with healthcare customers, including cardiologists and primary care, and engage with physiciansβ offices, integrated delivery systems, pharmacies, and hospital clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with policies, standards, and ethics.
- Maintain current product knowledge and certifications.
- Conduct balanced, compliant product sales discussions aligned with product labeling.
- Provide management updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
- Be knowledgeable on headquarter-approved information on products, disease, and marketplace.
- Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- S1: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 0β3 years relevant experience.
- S2: BA/BS or high school diploma/equivalent with 3+ years sales experience (or 6+ years relevant experience).
- Analyze complex data to develop strategic sales plans.
- Comfortable using digital tools to engage healthcare professionals.
- Flexible/adaptable to changing market conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong organization and time management; works independently and collaboratively.
- Valid driverβs license.
- Reside in territory (or within 25 miles of workload center for metro) or within 75 miles for non-metro; relocate at own expense if outside.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Sales/account management/consultative/customer service background.
- Sales analytics/metrics experience; minimum 3 years relevant sales experience.
- Cardiovascular sales experience with cardiologists and endocrinologists.
- Product launch experience in competitive markets.
- Ability to simplify complex information; advanced analytics and multi-channel tools.
