Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales results, work autonomously, and serve as single point of accountability for the successful launch within your territory.
- Develop territory-specific account plans to identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities to meet customer needs, coordinating a local integrated field team (medical, payer, patient navigation/support).
- Serve as a subject matter expert and resource by delivering clinically relevant disease and product information to create demand for the product launch.
- Communicate approved resources to HCPs for HCM patients, including marketing materials, payer information, formulary coverage, patient support services, and educational programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs Degree required.
- 5+ years biotech/pharma sales experience required.
- Experience as a rep with sole ownership of the territory highly preferred.
- Cardiology, rare disease, or specialty product experience preferred.
- Specialty product launch experience preferred.
- Experience with patient service hubs and specialty pharmacy distribution preferred.
- Knowledge of KOLs and key accounts within assigned territory preferred.
- Expertise in evaluating territory market trends and strategic planning to drive results and exceed sales objectives required.
- Experience selling to complex accounts, identifying influential stakeholders, and meeting patient needs required.
- Clinical acumen and passion for understanding/championing customer and patient needs required.
- Ability to meet credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions and medical facilities in the territory required.
- Willing and able to overnight travel 25% to 75% required.
- Acceptable driving record and valid driverโs license required to operate a company vehicle.
