Responsibilities:
- Engage with cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders to educate on clinical and scientific evidence.
- Educate on RNAi technology and cardiometabolic conditions (hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, hypercholesterolemia).
- Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses/meetings in cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials via investigator site engagement.
- Support speaker training and ensure speaker content reflects evolving disease/product data.
- Support national/regional/local congresses including Opinion Leader (OL) engagement and session/booth coverage.
- Monitor and analyze scientific publications, clinical trials, and the competitive landscape.
- Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry business acumen.
- Advance the MSL value proposition; demonstrate tact/professionalism.
- Act in accordance with company policies.
- Develop territory-specific OL and account plans (OL profiles, pre-call, follow-up).
- Communicate information accurately and clearly; document MSL accomplishments.
- Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
- Support Medical Affairs special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
- 5 years of experience as an MSL.
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience; industry Medical Affairs experience (biotech/pharma).
- High-level verbal and written communication; strong collaboration.
- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate findings; identify local/regional unmet needs.
- Understanding of healthcare delivery/managed care impacts; research study design/execution.
- Strategic/creative result-orientation; comfort with ambiguity.
- Strong project/time management; ability to travel.
- Field-based; candidate must be located within one of the territories.
Pay Range: $190,000β$210,000 USD.
