Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities:
- Engage cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders to educate on clinical/scientific evidence and advance the treatment landscape.
- Educate on RNAi technology and cardiometabolic disease areas including hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
- Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
- Attend and present at scientific congresses/meetings; stay current on cardiometabolic trends.
- Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards.
- Support company-sponsored clinical trials via investigator site engagement.
- Support speaker training and ensure speakers are up to date with evolving data.
- Support national/regional/local congress activities (including Opinion Leader engagement, session coverage, booth, and debriefs).
- Monitor/analyze scientific publications, clinical trials, and competitive landscape.
- Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry business acumen.
- Develop territory-specific Opinion Leader (OL) and account plans.
- Communicate information clearly; document MSL accomplishments.
- Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
- Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
- Support Medical Affairs special projects; manage cross-functional relationships.

Requirements:
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
- 5 years of experience as an MSL.
- Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience and biotech/pharma Medical Affairs industry experience.
- Strong verbal/written communication; collaboration; ability to interpret scientific data and translate for education/research.
- Ability to identify unmet local/regional medical needs; understand healthcare delivery (including managed care) and research study design/execution.
- Proven results orientation; comfort with ambiguity; strong project and time management; ability to travel.

Pay Range: $190,000 USD - $210,000 USD
