Responsibilities:
- Meet/exceed established sales budgets with accountability for territory results.
- Drive utilization of approved products with heart failure (HF) specialists and other healthcare professionals within assigned accounts.
- Apply knowledge of heart failure and the marketplace to manage business opportunities/challenges.
- Provide field-based input to the Regional Sales Director and commercial/medical colleagues for strategic/tactical territory planning.
- Prepare, maintain, present, and implement customer/institution-specific territory plans.
- Execute marketing/sales initiatives to achieve business objectives.
- Operate within defined territory expense budgets and manage resources to meet objectives.
- Conduct speakers programs in territory (where permitted).
- Lead outstanding customer experience, satisfaction, and retention.
- Understand account needs, stakeholders, and competitive situations.
- Use sales reports to identify territory potential and key HF stakeholders.
- Complete administrative responsibilities (healthcare compliance, expense reports, Veeva CRM call reporting) by deadlines.
- Provide input to functions supporting ongoing sales market development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (accredited 4-year) required.
- 5+ years healthcare sales (pharma specialty/hospital/med device-diagnostic, or equivalent); preference for cardiovascular experience.
- Institutional sales experience preferred; IDN experience a plus.
- Top 30% achievement ranking in 2 of last 5 years.
- Product launch experience; Medicare population a plus.
- Customer-service oriented; exemplary customer service.
- Strong written/verbal communication; polished meeting presenter.
- Large geography experience; overnight travel as needed.
- Experience with HUB and specialty pharmacies.
- Medicare coverage determination facilitation OR extensive prior authorization experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; prior CRM use.
- Satisfactory driving record per company policy.
