Primary Objectives:
- Support in vivo oncology research studies in mice as a member of the Vivarium Operations Cagewash Team.
Responsibilities:
- Process dirty and clean caging components.
- Perform general sanitation on equipment, rooms, and facilities.
- Transport materials, supplies, and waste.
- Record data within room logs and the laboratory information management system.
- Read, understand, and adhere to study protocols.
- Perform general preparation and organizational activities, including supply organization and stocking, and laboratory organization.
- Work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.

Education and Experience:
- Required: GED.
- Preferred: AALAS ALAT certification.
- Preferred: 1 year of related experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and repetitive motion.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift.
- Lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
- Routine exposure to odors and chemicals.
- Routine exposure to sharps.
- Routine exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissue.
