Position Summary:
Bio-Techne seeks a highly motivated and results-driven Biologics Sales Specialist to sell bioprocessing instrument platforms (iCE, Maurice, MFI), related systems, and consumables to customers within an assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales and grow market share. Field-based; ideal candidate located in or near San Diego, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets using a consultative, value-based selling approach
- Spend ~75% of time in the field engaging customers
- Develop and implement strategic territory plans
- Manage/grow existing accounts and prospect for new opportunities (biopharma/pharma)
- Provide product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver a superior customer experience
- Maintain accurate Salesforce.com opportunity pipelines and forecasts
- Represent company values and solutions at trade/vendor/customer sites

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in a scientific discipline or related field (required)
- 5+ years technical sales in life science tools research market (required)
- Prior experience selling high-value capital equipment (required)
- Experience with MS Office, PowerPoint, Salesforce (required)
- Broad understanding of related scientific techniques/applications (e.g., capillary electrophoresis, micro-flow imaging)
