Your Role: Bio Manufacturing Operations Supervisor
As the Bio Manufacturing Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team responsible for delivering monoclonal antibody (mAb) bulk protein production at the Elwood, Kansas manufacturing facility, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and manufacturing excellence. You will develop people, optimize operations, and ensure consistent execution on the manufacturing floor.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop an operations team to meet production demands with a “Safety First and Quality Always” mindset.
- Plan staffing and daily operations to ensure proper training, compliance, and personnel capability on the manufacturing floor.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across the site, supporting manufacturing, quality, safety, and technical initiatives.
- Oversee documentation processes including batch record lifecycle management, deviations, change controls, and production execution.
- Drive engagement in personnel development, organizational growth, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Foster a culture of accountability aligned with respect, integrity, and excellence.
Minimum qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years in a regulated, commercial manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and team development; ability to drive safe, compliant GMP-regulated manufacturing operations; ability to wear appropriate gowning and PPE in manufacturing/support areas.
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a biomanufacturing-related field.
- Experience in biomanufacturing, particularly monoclonal antibody production.
- Understanding of USDA, FDA, EU GMP, and cGMP regulatory standards.
- Experience with operational excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, TPS).
- Leadership success; experience with SAP, OSI PI, and Veeva.

- Travel: Minimal (0–5%)
- Shift: Night shift (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM), 12-hour rotating schedule; shift premiums available for night and weekend work
