The Position:
- Assist in the operation, maintenance, and system management of process control systems
- Assist in managing uptime and availability of process control systems across the site and various facilities

Essential Functions:
- Support troubleshooting during process downtime
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair control system hardware
- Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance
- Assist in development of maintenance procedures
- Support control system equipment installations
- Assist in managing control system hardware inventory
- Support plans to maintain and improve process control systems
- Support technical clarifications with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Own self-development and self-initiative to understand site process control systems
- Adhere to automation/IT standards and maintain training readiness
- Utilize appropriate cLEAN tools to solve problems or improve processes
- Manage assignments with a Quality Mindset focused on risk management and mitigation
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements

Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Computers, Engineering, or related field (required) + 1 year relevant experience (required)
- OR High School Diploma/equivalent + 4 years relevant experience (in lieu)

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:
- Supporting and maintaining process control systems
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Troubleshooting automated/IT system issues (interfaces and hardware components)
- PLC (Rockwell, Siemens), HMI, PCS/DCS (DeltaV, iFix), Historian (OSI PI, iBatch), SCADA, MES (Syncade, PAS-X), MS SQL
- Troubleshooting PLCs and process control/distributed control systems (entry level)
- Basic understanding of process control systems for Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Food/Cosmetic/Beverage
- Organizational/planning skills; project management methodology
