Corporate Functions
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
- Establish links with customers and key stakeholder counterparts.
- Serve as liaison to building occupants and act as a conduit into Facility Management & Workplace Services.
- Translate business issues, strategic objectives, and end-user requirements into effective facility/work environment responses.
- Understand customers’ mission, vision, and business drivers to influence asset reinvestment strategies.
- Establish and maintain communication with Workplace Strategy, Facility Management, Global Real Estate, Administrative, Discovery, Development, Manufacturing, and Global Facilities Delivery (GFD).
- Establish and maintain relationships with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), Fire, and Safety and Security.

Occupancy Management:
- Organize customer information on headcount projections, organizational structure, and workplace requirements; communicate needs with Facilities and customer component leadership.
- Ensure occupancy management database is updated for reporting and space allocations.
- Gather/analyze work environment data and translate into 0–3-year occupancy strategy to support Strategic Master Planning.
- Drive workplace occupancy rates and follow Lilly design and utilization standards.
- Adhere to the Enclosed Office process and ensure exemptions are in place.

Project Management:
- Establish plans and prioritize capital projects according to business objectives; establish scope and project profiles.
- Facilitate coordination of major capital project planning by providing input during design to ensure adherence to corporate standards for workstations, offices, labs, meeting space, amenities, and related occupancy facilities.
- Represent facilities “owned and operated” by the FM&WS CBRE partnership and engage/leverage implementation resources (internal or external).

Manage Relationships With Leveraged Resources:
- Lead interactions with FM partners on capital and expense projects; provide input on selection of contract A/E firms.
- Review and approve capital/expense plans and monitor monthly.
- Ensure funding and contractual information is provided to contract resources for work performed.
- Provide Fiori invoice and Ariba PO approvals and Lilly PM oversight on FM&WS Capital Projects; provide Lilly PM responsibilities on customer-funded capital projects led by FM&WS contract partners.
- Oversee contract designers on workload prioritization; mentor on Lilly FM&WS standards, specifications, business processes, and guidelines.
- Direct and provide oversight for customer relocation projects.

Communications:
- Serve as information resource on facilities and infrastructure activities during Indianapolis campus site redevelopment.
- Communicate pertinent project information to site/component leadership and the general site population.
- Participate in FM&WS site strategic master planning processes.
- Network with corporate counterparts to maintain focus on workplace/facility needs/issues for customer groups.
- Provide FM&WS communications content and data analysis support for Lilly executives.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, Science, Business, or other technical discipline (required).

Other Qualifications (preferred/required):
- Experience in facility/occupancy planning (preferred; relevant work experience considered).
- Strong interpersonal skills; results-driven; willing to advocate positions with limited support.
- Ability to work independently or with groups with minimal direction.
- Experience in multi-project and multi-customer environments (highly valued).
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership (e.g., create/present reports; set up/facilitate meetings).
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to analyze data and summarize results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across internal/external groups with competing/changing priorities and limited authority.
- Experience in a workplace strategy/occupancy planning role.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English to communicate technical and business information effectively.

Additional Information (role-related):
- Shift: Monday–Friday, normal business hours.
- Lilly@Work Flexible role; may not have a dedicated office/cubicle—must be comfortable in a flexible environment.
- Some travel may be required for training, seminars, conferences, and visiting other Lilly sites.
- Fixed-term role: not permanent; two years, extended annually up to four years; employed directly by Eli Lilly.
