Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific and organizational leadership for Dry Products/SDD.
- Determine appropriate network-level technical expertise and close capability gaps through hiring, development, and retention.
- Deploy resources to deliver timely, rigorous support to dry product sites.
- Oversee performance management, including development plans; conduct interim and end-of-year performance reviews.
- Coach, develop, and provide feedback to reports.
- Lead recognition, compensation, and promotion activities.
- Lead talent assessment and succession planning for network and site TS/MS organizations.
- Encourage shared learning within and outside the department.
- Lead short- and long-term business planning (objectives, budget, capital, capability).
- Partner with TS/MS, PR&D, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to define Control Strategy Implementation expectations.
- Partner with PR&D to ensure robust control strategies for new products.
- Work with dry product sites to install processes with robust validations.
- Support new products commercialization with Development.
- Build and scale pilot plant capability to support the network tech agenda (talent, infrastructure/capital, training).
- Ensure functional excellence of TS/MS groups at each manufacturing site; coach/mentor TS/MS site heads.
- Ensure trained personnel, recruiting, and succession planning at sites.
- Serve as point of contact for critical manufacturing issues; consult on deviations, process changes, and validations.
- Foster safety & compliance: ensure regulatory/policy compliance, appropriate safety practices to prevent injuries, and monitor quality/regulatory expectations.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy, engineering, chemistry, or related field; Masters or PhD preferred.
- 15+ yearsβ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, technical services, and product development; minimum of 4 years supervisory experience.

- Understanding of cGMPs in a manufacturing setting.
- Outstanding written and oral communication; strong leadership.
- Knowledge of corporate policies; ability to influence without direct authority.
- Experience in technical leadership positions in dry product manufacturing.
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated problem-solving.
- Recognized knowledge in oral solid dosage form and dry product technologies.
- Ability to integrate multiple technology disciplines; cross-disciplinary collaboration.
