Associate Supply Chain Engineer (Warehouse/Intro Logistics)

The Position
- Support data analysis, problem solving, and execution of changes in Planning, Warehousing, Procurement, and Shipping
- Support transformation program strategies and projects in collaboration with Supply Chain management
- Review, adjust, and update programs based on established governance to ensure sharing, monitoring, and control
- Propose risk mitigation actions
- Monitor necessary resources needed for execution
- Support continuous improvement projects; drive SPS to closure; identify anomalies and corrective actions
- Conduct investigations to optimize and improve operational reliability
- Provide engineering design support for Supply Chain facility/equipment changes and additions
- Perform overseas operational training to ensure standards are met
- Investigate and resolve quality problems in the department (e.g., unscheduled events, deviations)
- Other accountabilities, as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Open office environment with frequent distraction
- Travel up to 10% of the time (may vary by role)
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering or Supply Chain, or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics experience; preferably in pharmaceuticals (required)
Preferred / Plus
- Project management experience
- Lean/Six Sigma exposure and sustainable process improvement experience
- Knowledge of supply chain systems such as SAP (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of robotics and automation
- Knowledge of US/EU regulations and GMP application
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly in writing and presentations
- Planning/organizing/execution and revising work plans
- Strong communication across multiple organizational levels
