Associate Sales Representative (Springfield, IL - PD)

Associate Sales Representative (ASR) provides short-term territory coverage under the direction of a Region Business Manager. Plans and executes sales activities, delivers presentations to healthcare professionals, and uses approved marketing materials to drive product awareness and sales. Frequent travel (80%+), including overnight stays; must live near a major HUB airport (within 30–45 minutes without traffic). Maintains compliance with reporting and regulatory standards, participates in training, supports business planning, and transitions into a territory-aligned professional sales role within 12–18 months.

Essential Functions:
- Under close supervision of the RBM, achieve territory management, call activity goals, and performance objectives (call activity, sample/resource utilization, target reach/frequency, and sales performance).
- Maintain knowledge of promoted product disease states and indications.
- Deliver sales presentations to current/prospective customers based on assigned call goals.
- Implement the selling model and process principles, including the DiSC personality profile.
- Complete pre- and post-call analysis; review and analyze sales data.
- Use developmental budget funds.
- Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
- Develop a daily call schedule for comprehensive territory coverage.
- Complete administrative reports and meet deadlines; safeguard company assets.
- Meet call expectations (face-to-face with HCPs) and enter calls into Veeva via iPad; check/respond to email daily.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business or related field — Required.
- Experience: 1+ year in sales/work experience or customer-facing/customer-focused role — Required.
- Licenses: Required upon hire.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Base salary: $70,000–$80,000/year; short-term incentive opportunity within first 12 months.
