As an Associate National Account Director, serve as a central lead educating stakeholders (especially institutions interested in PrEP) and quarterback a matrix team (field reimbursement managers, medical liaisons, nurse educators, national account directors, sales, and market access marketing). Gain formulary inclusion and placement on Electronic Medical Records systems and product pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and cultivate relationships across IDNs, healthcare systems/hospitals, and FQHC/community clinics.
- Own account strategy and contract pull-throughs where appropriate.
- Leverage relationships to increase demand/access for long-acting injectable products by targeting key influencers/decision-makers.
- Align Medical/Sales/Marketing strategies for combined customer engagement and appropriate coverage.
- Execute defined call plans with C-suite, pathway, and P&T committee members; partner with Field Reimbursement.
- Engage Director of Pharmacy, infectious disease department heads, and Medical/P&T evaluation committee members.
- Build/manage account profiles (protocol development, pull-through targets, current pathway/protocol placement, key influencers).
- Serve as cross-functional lead maintaining cross-functional account plan.
- Use in-person tactics: account visits, contract strategy (as applicable), and provide clinical/efficacy/safety info.
- Lead strategic launch planning across Sales, Market Access, Trade Relations, Value Access, Contracting, Medical, HEOR, and Marketing.
- Meet any onsite visitation/hospital credentialing requirements (e.g., screenings/vaccination).
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs + 10 years OR Masterβs + 8 years OR PhD + 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Account management/managed markets; HIV or PrEP experience; cultural humility; contracting experience; institution new product launch experience; 2 years in corporate/region/national/key account role with direct access/payer/health system experience; ability to lead without authority; strategic physician/account plan execution; strong communication, negotiation, business acumen, analytics; project management/multi-tasking; travel 25β50% (overnight).

- Salary range: $191,250β$247,500. May include discretionary annual bonus and stock-based long-term incentives; paid time off; company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
