Associate National Account Director — Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as central lead educating stakeholders (especially institutions) on PrEP and improving patient access to Gilead’s long-acting injectable products.
- Coordinate/“quarterback” a matrix team (field reimbursement managers, medical liaisons, nurse educators, national account directors, sales, market access marketing).
- Achieve inclusion on formularies, placement on Electronic Medical Records/product pathways via assigned account management.
- Build and cultivate relationships across IDNs, targeted healthcare systems/hospitals, and FQHC/community clinics; drive overall account strategy and contract pull-through.
- Align Medical/Sales/Marketing and other functions on combined engagement strategy for product access/coverage.
- Execute defined call plans with key decision-makers/prescribers (C-suite, pathway, P&T committee); promote LAIs with Field Reimbursement.
- Build/maintain account profiles (protocol development, pull-through targets, current pathway/protocol placement, key influencers).
- Act as cross-functional account lead and maintain strategic account plans.
- Use in-person tactics (account visits, clinical/efficacy/safety education, contract strategy where appropriate) and lead launch planning across functions.
- Meet any onsite visitation/hospital credentialing requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s + 10 years; or Master’s + 8 years; or PhD + 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Account/managed markets, HIV/PrEP, cultural humility, contracting, new product launches, payer/health system/direct access experience, influence without authority, strategic plan execution, strong communication/negotiation/analytical skills, project management/multitasking, travel 25–50%.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $191,250–$247,500; may include discretionary bonus/stock incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
